For Memory Trends 3-D Designers Challenge Invitational 2006

Where Editors Judge "Most Original Design" and "Best Use of Product" Awards

All of the entries will be on display at the AMACO Memory Trends booth #363.

How were designers selected for this challenge?

Only past participants in both the AMACO ATC Designers Challenge Invitational at CHA-Las Vegas 2006 and AMACO Bitty Book Designers

Challenge Invitational at CHA-Summer 2006 were invited to participate in this particularly difficult challenge for Memory Trends 2006.

Ten designers completed this challenge.

What was the challenge and why so difficult?

  • To complete one finished WireFrame artwork to honor memory making in less than 30 days.
  • To include as many of the pre-selected AMACO products as possible (see list below).
  • To keep FIMO usage to only 25% of the total materials used in order to show papercrafters a new more dimensional way to make memories last with AMACO products.
  • Many or most of the materials were completely new to the designers.
  • Most of the designers specialize in Polymer Clay

  • What were the pre-selected AMACO products that could be combined with papercraft materials?

  • 4 New FIMO Soft Metallic Colors
  • 1 Sheet/Color Art Emboss
  • 2 Types of WireMesh
  • 4 Colors FunWire (including black)
  • 1 Color Rub 'n Buff
  • 1 Color Brush 'n Leaf
  • 1 Circular or Square WireFrame
  • 1 Eberhard Faber Easy Metal
  • 2 Sheets Dawn Bibby Specialty Outline Stickers (One holiday/One non-holiday)

  • No two designers had exactly the same color/product selection.
